A big derby game for the Sutton 2s, a disappointing day which is to be left behind and out the system.
Streetly elected to bat first, the opening partnership for Streetly was 62, Jack Reidy and Tom Finn opened the bowing for Sutton. Nas Ali came on to take 2 wickets however the game was taken away from Matt Bates who scored 83 of 46 deliveries consisting of 8 boundaries and 7 sixes, excellent striking by the Streetly man. Nadeem Ahmed then came on and bowled tightly finishing with 4-56.
Sutton went into bat losing there opened Spencer first ball. Elliot Needle hung in and got to 33 before going leg before by Matt Bates, who finished with 3-23. A few contributions by Nas Ali 20 and George Dyche 22*, became too much for Sutton as they were bowled out for 143 of 26.3 overs
