Having won 2 on the bounce, Sutton arrived at Olton hoping for another positive result. Although normally a very good batting wicket, we were faced with something more resembling of an outfield. Despite this, Sutton won the toss and elected to bat. Despite the loss of a couple of early wickets, we were treated to yet another masterclass from Lee and Aaron Thomason who finished with 107* and 84 respectively. This helped us score a superb 264 from 50 overs. In response, Olton were quickly reduced to 30-4 thanks to a great opening spell from Jacob Squire Wood in particular who finished with tremendous figures of 6-28. Jacob was ably backed up by Felix Haines and Amaan Farooq who were also amongst the wickets, helping to bowl Olton out for just 87.
Another fantastic victory for the team, and a great opportunity next week to make it 4 in a row at Rectory Park, against a so far winless Moseley Ashfield.
